Although we’ve been hit with a lot of rain lately here in Corvallis, we won’t let that put a damper on our holiday spirit, and we hope that it won’t for you either.  We’ve put together a list for you that we think you and your whole family can enjoy, even with all this rain! (Please be aware of any flash flood warnings around Benton County and practice any caution while driving on the roads this weekend). Without further ado, here are some festive events coming up that will be sure to put you in the Christmas spirit!

The Best Christmas Pageant Ever
Brought to you by the Majestic Community Theatre, and adapted from the best-selling Young Adult book, you and your family won’t want to miss out on this hilarious Christmas classic.  Performances will take place December 19th at 2:30 pm or 7:30 pm, as well as December 20th at 2:20 pm and is located at 115 SW 2nd Street in downtown Corvallis.  Tickets are $16 for adults and can be purchased by calling 541-738-7469.

Willamette Valley Christmas
Hosted by Life Community Church, you and your family will enjoy nine festive performances from Willamette Valley artists.  This event is free, and takes place on Sunday, December 20th at 7pm.

Sundays at 3 Concert Series
On select Sunday afternoons for the month of December, the Church of the Good Samaritan presents classical concerts at 3 pm.  On Dec 20th, they will be featuring “Lessons and Carols.” Event is free, but donations are appreciated!

Pastega Christmas Light Display
Now through Christmas, you and the kids can partake in an old Corvallis tradition of driving through a gorgeous Christmas Display of plywood cutout, beautiful lights and enjoy classic Christmas music.  Located at the Benton County Fairgrounds, this event is free as well and will have all of your mouths open in shock and admiration. Make this a holiday tradition the kids will never forget!

Candlelight and Carols
Do you love Christmas music? There’s no better way to get in the holiday spirit than listing to the award-winning choral ensemble team, the Corvallis Repertory Singers.  This December 19th, they will be partnering with the Newport Symphony Orchestra to perform beautiful holiday classics.
