When it comes to the fourth of July, Corvallis doesn’t mess around. Here at Wilson Motors Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, 4th of July is one of our favorite holidays, because, well, America. It’s the perfect opportunity to be thankful for living in a free country and celebrate by going to festivals, eating hot dogs, and watching fireworks. There are plenty of events going on for 2015 that the whole family will love. We decided we would compile a list of our favorite places to go so you don’t have to do anymore research!

Corvallis’ Red White and Blue Festival

Located at the Riverfront Commemorative Park with FREE admission, you and your family can enjoy a day of fun filled with live concerts, activities for the kids, and plenty of food, wine and beer for you to choose from. Hosted by the Downtown Corvallis Association, you can either attend the event on July 3rd or 4th, but for the full affect, go on July 4th and watch the Jaycees fireworks display after dusk!

All American Everyone-Can-Join Fabulous Fantastic 4th of July Parade

Join the parade with other locals and display your American pride! They suggest that you get to Central Park around 9:30 am on 8th street between Jefferson and Monroe. The parade will end up disbanding and heading down to the Red White and Blue Riverfront Festival. Paraders can then decide to go home or attend the festival. The parade usually takes around 30 minutes.

Star-Spangled Celebration

In our neighboring town of Lebanon, they host their Star-Spangled Celebration, which includes plenty of family-friendly activities like bounce houses, face-painting, kids’ crafts and fireworks! Only $3 admission for walk-ins. You can get more info here: www.lebanoncommunityfoundation.com/Star_Spangled_Celebration.html.
